A Little Rusty

BootsLong time no see guys…  Almost two years has gone by since I posted last time so I might be a little rusty. And I haven’t quite figured out wether I should go back to blogging or not. It’s not that I don’t like it, It’s just that it’s difficult to find the time to do so. I love to write down and share my thoughts here. And I really have an itch to start writing again.

Anyway, as you might imagine, a lot has happened since I last posted anything. And I don’t know where to begin..? My babies are growing up (too) fast. Noel will be five in a month and is starting school next year(!). He is the most adorable, caring, selfless, brave and loving boy I know. Oh, and he is a huge fan of Zlatan, loves sports and to read and write letters. And my youngest one, Nova, she isn’t so little anymore. She is a “big” girl (as she refers to herself). She is so caring, funny and snuggly. She’s a true star that puts a smile on everyones face. She has a great sense of humor and says a lot of funny things. She has a thing for horses and insects at the moment. And for some dang reason she seems to love the thing I hate the most – spiders (whaaat?). Those of you who know me, know that I have arachnophobia. But I am trying my best not to show it in front of the kids.

And then there is me, who is currently working in a political party called Bergshamrapartiet. Which is a local party in Solna, Stockholm, with a mandate in the city council. Our main focus is to make Bergshamra GREAT again (ha ha). Together with Alliansen we are working to improve and develop various issues in Bergshamra. We are a pragmatic party, that has put aside partisan politics to focus on the real issues.

I have so much going on in my head right now, and so many things I would like to discuss here – like the U.S election for instance (which I think everyone should have the right to vote in since it’s a superpower, and the result effects us all) or the crisis in the Middle East. Well, I’d be happy if I could inspire anyone to look at things differently. So in the future I’m going to focus more on politics, global issues and my surroundings.

Stay tuned for my next blog post.. I promise, it won’t take two more years..

Love, S
